The best time to visit Hampi is from October to February, when the weather is pleasant for sightseeing, temple visits, heritage walks, and exploring the ruins. November to January is especially comfortable for outdoor activities.

Winter: 15–30°C, pleasant for sightseeing. Summer: 25–40°C, hot during the day. Monsoon: 22–32°C, with occasional rain and greener surroundings. Altitude: Hampi is situated at approximately 470 metres (1,540 feet) above sea level..

How to Reach

By Air: The nearest major airport is Jindal Vijaynagar Airport (Bellary), roughly 40–50 km away. Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport is a larger alternative. By Train: Hosapete (Hospet) Junction is the nearest major railway station, around 13 km from Hampi. Regular trains connect Hosapete with major Indian cities. By Road: Hampi is well connected by road with Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa, Hubballi, and other Karnataka cities. Buses, taxis, and private vehicles are convenient options.
